Texas Rangers Hall of Fame - This is the state-designated official historical center of the Texas Rangers law enforcement agency. The facilities consist of the Homer Garrison, Jr. museum gallery, the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, the Texas Ranger Research Center and the Headquarters of Texas Rangers Company "F". Cameron Park - A gift of the William Cameron family, the 416-acre Cameron Park in the City of Waco has delighted Wacoans and visitors since the early 1900s. The park hosts picnickers, hikers, joggers, equestrians and mountain bikers. Triathlons, mountain bike races, and other events are held annually at the park.
Cameron Park Zoo - A 52-acre zoo located in beautiful Cameron Park in the City of Waco, next to the Brazos River. The zoo features a diverse collection that includes over 1,731 animals, representing 300 species from around the world. For more information call: (254) 750-8400.
Waco Mammoth Site - Sitting on more than 100 acres of wooded parkland along the Bosque River and surrounded by oak, mesquite and cedar trees, the Waco Mammoth Site offers an escape from the modern world and provides a glimpse into the lives of Columbian mammoths. Mayborn Museum Complex - Located on the Baylor University campus, this museum features a natural science and cultural history museum focusing on Central Texas with walk-in dioramas including one on the Waco Mammoth Site, and exploration stations for geology, paleontology, archaeology, and natural history. Texas Sports Hall of Fame - The museum includes the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Texas Tennis Hall of Fame, the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame, and the new Southwest Conference exhibit.
